Tirupati Temple is location in Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh and is dedicated to Sri Venkateswara. Pilgrims can reach Tirupati Temple by local Buses or taxis from Andhra Pradesh.  Tirupati Temple is very famous and is the most visited temple in India. Tirupati is second most visited shrine in the world after Vetican.

Tirupati has railway station and is connected with the major cities of the country. The nearest airport to Tirupati is at a distance of 10 kms in Renigunta. All cities of Andhra Pradesh provide regular bus services to Sri Venkateswara Temple. Tirupati temple forms the main part of the pilgrimage sites of the Hindus.

As on the seventh peak of Tirupati Hill, Sri Venkateswara is also known as the Lord of the Seven Hills. 'Venkateswara' term is very popular in southern part of India. However, the Lord is also called as Lord Balaji. He is regarded as Lord Vishnu, who is considered as the preserver of the universe.
